LAKASHA D asked: Consider the marketing mix. How does the marketing mix differ in the domestic and international environments? How is it the same? Should international marketing managers standardize the marketing mix? Why or why not?

blackmagic asked: I´m a marketing manager in a company that deals with technical identification systems. I´m looking for a good marketing magazine to subscribe to, that is a bit more on the creative side, that informs about effective advertising, design, public relations etc, and not really about the statistical side to marketing. Any suggestions?

not margaret asked: I currently work in marketing/PR and am planning on quitting my full-time job in a few months to go back to school and earn a second bachelor’s in civil engineering (and thus change careers). While I’m in school, I’ll need to earn some money, and I figure a good option for me would be doing freelance marketing/PR projects - flexible hours and hopefully better pay per hour than waiting tables. For those of you that currently do freelance marketing/PR, do you have any tips for finding work? I’ve browsed craigslist, but that isn’t always reliable (I don’t want those work-for-free-but-build-your-portfolio jobs). I’m in the Chicago area if it makes a difference.
Also, if I create an online portfolio of my work, does anyone know if I can I feature work I’ve done for my current employer (now or after I leave)? I don’t want to get in any copyright trouble. I’m not sure how to approach my boss with that question just yet.

NozDontKnowMyNamz asked: I graduated recently with a degree in marketing and have many years of professional experience in another area but would like to do marketing/advertising.
Now in my experience firms are looking for qualified marketers, etc. But if kids can get hired with no experience, then it seems as though I could too.
But aren’t their resumes blank?

djfreex asked: I want to increase my knowledge in marketing. What are some good sources that explains newest trends and provide examples? Is there a site or a book that analyses marketing campaigns or strategies?
Spesifically I am looking for marketing info applicable to B2B (factory-dealer) environment.
I already know about basic principles and not interested in textbooks or reference books that talks about Marketing Mix, PEST, SMART etc. I am looking for examples, analysis and practical information. Samples of ground breaking marketing approaches. I do not want to read another book about coupons, mailings, prospecting etc.
