I was offered an opportunity to handle the west coast operations. It is to entail east coast sales and marketing/branding. The company is small but growing. I understand that my marketing/branding solutions would assist in creating a brand identity. What is a good offer for this position. I was thinking 30% commission. There is no salary involved… straight commission. Should i offer my marketing services on the side? Should there be increases on top of the 30% based on exceeding goals? and how much would be fair? thanks guys/gals….

I love the actual data gathering part of marketing research. I love doing surveys and using the data from those surveys to make charts & graphs. Most importantly, I **** public speaking. I have 5 years of college under my belt and I feel as though my public speaking skills have gotten even worse. Even talking in front of small groups of say 3-5 people is hard for me.

My question is this: Are there any jobs in Marketing Research that don’t require public speaking? Thanks a bunch.
